To analyze meal images and provide nutritional breakdowns, CaloCam utilizes secure Artificial Intelligence (AI) API services:
Meal images sent to AI processing endpoints are analyzed transiently solely to generate nutritional estimates.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your photos or personal data to third parties or advertising networks.
No personal identification markers (such as your real name or email address) are attached to image analysis requests sent to AI services.
4. Data Storage & Retention
Your meal log history, daily targets, and custom entries remain stored locally on your device.
You retain full ownership and control over your data.
Clearing the App data or uninstalling the App will permanently delete all locally stored history and preferences.
5. Children's Privacy
CaloCam is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately so we can remove it.
